all about the festival 'Diwali'.
From making Rangoli pictures, Diwali Lamps to
experiencing Henna Painting.
The children have enjoyed this topic, especially
the Diwali party we had to end this topic.
Special Thanks to Jihan's Mummy and Auntie Mrs
Varsani & Mrs Pindoria for henna painting the
children's hands.
Please take a look at the shows to see the fun,
learning and play we had.

Autumn Walk!
On the 29th Sept 2011 Blue
and Yellow Class went on our Autumn Walk .
Sunhats, sun cream and wellies were the order of
the day as it felt more like a Summer's Day.
Off we went to George's Wood where we looked for
the signs of autumn.
The children collected leaves and twigs to bring
back to school. We saw berries and mushrooms
growing and even saw some chickens on a local
allotment. We passed the local stables and were
lucky enough to be invited in to look at the
horses and a parrot in an aviary which loved
chatting to our children.
After saying goodbye to the bird and thanking
the owner of the stables we made our way back to
school in time for lunch.
A lovely autumn walk was had by all!
We hope you enjoy the slideshow of our Autumn
Walk.
Blue Class have settled in
beautifully and have been busy making displays
for their classroom:
